CHUCK HARDWICK, MBA

Director, Strategy Advisory Board

Charles Leighton Hardwick (Chuck) serves as a Director on the ACCOY Pharmaceuticals, Inc.'s Strategy Advisory Board. He brings a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and government to our Advisory Board. When asked to serve on the Board, he readily accepted because he said "My family, like thousands of others, has been touched by opioids addiction and answers have to be found. The people at ACCOY are dedicated to this cause and I am pleased to join in their efforts”. Chuck's business expertise was developed over 40 years at Pfizer where he rose to the position of Senior VP for Worldwide Public Affairs. He was responsible for external corporate communications, public policy, state and federal government relations. He was also President of the Pfizer Foundation and worked extensively in Africa on HIV/AIDS. Reporting to Pfizer's CEO, he was a member of the most senior management committee. His government experience included serving 14 years in the NJ legislature where he was selected by his colleagues as Speaker of the Assembly. In that capacity, he dealt extensively with the media, state Medicaid officials and testified before US Congress on behalf of state legislatures nationwide. His leadership was recognized by President Reagan who appointed him to the Presidential Advisory Commission on Federalism to work with governors and members of congress to sort out which levels of government are best positioned to handle specific health-related matters. Chuck Hardwick was graduated from Florida State University with BS/MBA degrees.
